Industrial Partnerships and PSM Standards in Canada

The story of process safety management (PSM) in Canada is quite different than in other countries.  The practices and guidelines have evolved through industrial collaboration (often involving regulators and other stakeholders) rather than by unilateral legislation.  This paper presents the story of this collaboration and where it is going in the near future.
