The West Java facilities has 12 Offshore Complex Platforms (Flowstation), 4 ORF (Onshore Receiving Facility) and more than 200 Unmanned Platforms. Risk based approach method is necessary in managing mature and complex facilities to define prioritization of work program in order to achieve safe and reliable operation. This paper explains how PHE ONWJ defines risk of each asset then create overall asset execution program.
Focus of asset integrity program is the manned facilities (flowstations and ORF) and unmanned facilities with high production rate (NUI playground). The platform integrity status is given using traffic light category (green, yellow and red) which represent of the integrity status from piping, pressure vessel, pipeline riser and platform structural.
The risk based method is also used to define status of specific asset integrity, prioritize and evaluate overall work program that commonly known as the Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) program. The methodology of risk base approach is as follow :
- Selection the NUI playground asset
- determine consequences and likelihood of failure scenarios
- mapping risk profile by based on company’s integrated risk matrix
- screen asset based on high, medium and low risk
- create work program for high and medium risk
This method successfully reduces PHE ONWJ’s leak record each year as well as maintenance cost.
