Dry Tray Pressure Drop of Sieve Trays Re-visted and Expanded

The Dry Tray Pressure Drop of Sieve Trays has been explored extensively over the decades. Both authors have presented papers on the topic in the past 10 years. The work of both authors complements each other’s work and it is our belief that this document will finally “put to rest” this topic for eternity. We will present a new Dry Tray pressure drop correlation that is superior to all who have come before us and should become the foundation of other tray hydraulic parameters for Sieve Trays.
