Plasma-Assisted Liposuction for Abdominal Contouring: Efficacy and Safety Outcomes
Methods/Technique: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 72 patients who underwent plasma-assisted liposuction for abdominal contouring. Parameters evaluated included the volume of fat removed, the uniformity of fat reduction, patient satisfaction, and the incidence of complications. Preoperative and postoperative measurements were compared, and patient feedback was collected through standardized questionnaires.
Results/Complications: Plasma-assisted liposuction demonstrated a significant improvement in the uniformity of fat removal and overall patient satisfaction scores. The average volume of fat removed was consistent with existing liposuction procedures, but with reduced postoperative recovery times and lower complication rates. Notably, the incidence of skin irregularities and hematomas was markedly lower compared to historical data on traditional methods.
Conclusion: Plasma-assisted liposuction offers a viable and potentially superior alternative for abdominal contouring, characterized by enhanced aesthetic outcomes and improved safety profiles. These findings support broader application and further study of plasma-assisted techniques in cosmetic surgery. Future research should focus on long-term outcomes and comparative studies with other advanced liposuction technologies.
