Goals/Purpose: Facelift techniques continue to evolve to optimize outcomes while minimizing complications. The Hybrid SMASlift is an innovative approach that combines targeted skin elevation to address inherent skin laxity, minimal directed SMAS undermining, SMAS stacking, and vertical plication. This technique synthesizes the most effective components of traditional facelift methods to achieve natural, durable, and harmonious results.

Methods/Technique: Over two years, 50 patients underwent the Hybrid SMASlift performed by a single surgeon. The procedure emphasized targeted skin elevation for precise correction of skin laxity, limited and directed SMAS undermining, SMAS stacking for volumetric restoration, and vertical plication to reverse gravitational descent. In most cases, facial fat grafting and deep neck refinement were performed to enhance facial and cervical balance. Outcomes were assessed for aesthetic improvement, complication rates, and patient satisfaction.

Results/Complications: All 50 patients demonstrated significant improvement in facial aesthetics with a natural, youthful appearance. The Hybrid SMASlift alone provided robust results, with adjunctive techniques further enhancing results. No cases of nerve injury, hematoma, or seroma were observed, underscoring the technique’s safety. Patient satisfaction was uniformly high.

Conclusion: The Hybrid SMASlift offers a targeted and effective solution for facial rejuvenation, blending the strengths of established techniques while prioritizing safety. It serves as a powerful standalone approach for achieving natural, long-lasting results, with optional adjunctive procedures available for further refinement.
