As a novel promising technology, cold gas dynamic spray (CGDS) has attracted great attention from researchers and engineers due to its excellent advantages in spraying materials thermal sensitive or easy oxidized. Silver and copper are prominent for their attention-getting conductivities. In current study, silver-copper alloy powder was successfully deposited onto a certain kind of stainless steel and formed a functional seal coating. Optical and scanning electron microscopes were employed to observe the coating’s microstructure. Its mechanical properties, including microhardness and bonding strength, were determined respectively. At last, an interesting phenomenon of microstructure change induced by heat treatment was investigated either.
