Progressive [Re]visions of Women and Work

"Progressive [Re]visions" cracks open well-known canons, enriching them with the voices of lesser-known female subjects and artists. Artists Ephraim Moses Lilien, Appalachia's "New Women" Blanche Lazzell and Patty Willis, abstract expressionist Stella Waitzkin, and NASA-commissioned Chrystal Jackson all offer fresh and complicating relationships to otherwise male-centric narratives.
