2026 Annual Meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers

This year, the Consortium will allow authors to submit their Late-Breaking research for consideration for the 2026 Annual Meeting. CMSC recognizes that our rapidly advancing field includes research, new technology, and systems of care not available at the time of the regular abstract submission deadline.

Please note that only a limited number of abstracts from this Late-Breaking category will be selected for presentation at the meeting in Charlotte, NC. Authors should note the following important information before submitting a Late-Breaking Abstract:

Submission Criteria:
Original late-breaking scientific research conducted and submitted after the regular abstract submission deadline will be reviewed for presentation at the 2026 CMSC Annual Meeting. Abstracts are considered "late-breaking" if the works meet the following criteria:
  1. The research or clinical methodology must be new and of sufficient importance to merit special consideration after the standard abstract deadline. Abstracts must contain information or data that could not be completed prior to the original deadline.
  2. Clinical studies must be prospective in design. Authors must justify late consideration by documenting the closure date of the study.
  3. Late-breaking abstracts cannot be a revision of an abstract submitted prior to the submission deadline.
  4. Late-breaking abstracts must not have been presented, accepted for presentation, or published in any other scientific venue.
  5. All late-breaking abstracts must be accompanied by a brief statement from the authors documenting the reason for eligibility in the clinical or laboratory-based category.
  6. All accepted late-breaking submissions will be presented exclusively as posters.
