Thinking Black Feminism and the Human: The Absence/Presence of Gender in Black Studies

We seek abstracts that grapple with the tensions between the human, blackness, and gender from the fields of Gender/Sexuality Studies, African-American literature, and Critical Black Studies. Abstracts should be no more than 350 words.
