We invite submissions (300-word abstracts) examining transgression in 18th-century France. Possible topics include gender, sexual, social non-conformity; debates on laws, mores, rights; Sadism; vigilantism; social banditry; the Romantic brigand; rebellion, violence, and the French Revolution.
