This panel explores the complex notion of ecstasy (bliss, joy, euphoria, ‘outside-of-selfness’) in French and Francophone coming-of-age narratives. Intersectional analyses of youth and ecstasy alongside race, nationality, gender, or queerness are especially welcome.
