Childhood in 18th- and 19th-Century Spanish Culture

We invite papers that explore expressions of joy/sorrow through childhood in the texts of Pérez Galdós and his contemporaries, and more broadly in cultural representations of the Spanish 19^th century. Please send a 250-word abstract.
