On Mothers and "Madness" in Contemporary Literature and Film

This session seeks ~200-word abstracts conversant with queer-of-color, black, women-of-color, and/or indigenous feminisms on the topic of "mad" mothers in literature/poetry or film. All valances of "mad" and theoretical approaches to studying it are welcome.
