Comparative Abolitionisms

We invite abstracts (250 words) reflecting on the genres and forms of anti-slavery across the imperial and post-imperial nineteenth-century world. We seek especially comparisons and connections among French, Spanish, Portuguese, Anglo-American, Ottoman and Arab abolitionisms.
