Program Description:
Contemporary creative critical writers reflect on the historic writers who came before them, who inspired and influenced how they write, research, and teach. Figures such as Langston Hughes, Susan Howe, Adrian Piper, Toni Morrison, Gloria Anzaldúa, Francisco X. Alarcón, M. NourbeSe Philip, Saidiya Hartman, and Trish Salah challenge us to find innovative ways to share and transfer knowledge to combat systemic racism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia.
