This panel seeks papers exploring emancipation in trans narratives broadly defined (memoirs, fiction, poetry, sci-fi, film, video-games, etc.). Time periods and languages open, as well as theoretical/conceptual approaches. Please submit 300-word abstract and 100-word bio.
