From comments from our Past President Dr. Jervette R. Ward and Archives chair Dr. Regina Bradley to opening for our members to share, engage, and invite reflections, CLA Celebrates 90 Years will both ground our presence at MLA as an organization and expand conversation on what we learn from our leadership and our membership.

Founded in 1937 on the campus of LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tennessee, and celebrating our homecoming anniversary of 90 years in Memphis in April 2027, this panel is an invitation to conversation, with specific comments on “Looking to the Archives” and “Leadership from the Archives” from a diverse panel of perspectives in the organization.
