Douglas Scientific: SNP genotyping for molecular assisted selection programs using the Array Tape Platform
Molecular assisted selection and breeding programs for agriculturally important plants and animals often depend on SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) genotyping results for accurate sample characterization. The Douglas Scientific Array Tape platform is an automated endpoint PCR solution that enables miniaturized reaction volumes and significant cost savings for SNP genotyping reactions, while maintaining flexibility and accuracy. In this workshop, we will present data generated on the Array Tape platform using custom SNP assays, multiple chemistry options, and a variety of different corn samples. We will discuss how these results demonstrate the flexibility and reproducibility of this automation solution while highlighting the benefits that it can bring to your research program.
