Accurate and cost-effective denovo assembly of even the most complex genomes is now within reach. Highly complex genomes, like tetraploid (12 Gb) wild emmer wheat, tetraploid (2.4 Gb) rainbow trout, and several maize genomes, have been successfully assembled using NRGene’s assembly tool, DeNovoMAGIC. To achieve even better breeding decisions, NRGene’s GenoMAGIC big data analysis compares multiple reference genomes and WGS data to establish a genomic DB, thereby capturing the diversity of each crop. The value of such an analysis will be demonstrated using several maize test cases for advanced maize breeding.
GenoMAGIC’s abilities of data integration and imputation are critical to its breeding support capabilities. Different sources of data (e.g. WGS, genotypes, RNA seq, expression data, methylation sites, and segregating traits) can be integrated, queried and visualized. See examples of diverse genotypic data co-analysis and imputation of a full genomic sequence for better breeding decisions with GenoMAGIC!
