Novocraft Technologies: Piecing the Sequence Puzzle; A Novocraft Approach

Novocraft Technologies is a globally recognized provider of innovative and accurate bioinformatics tools and services with over 100 licensees around the world. In this short workshop, participants will be introduced to cutting edge bioinformatics software and systems that were developed in-house and how these tools could assist in propelling research to the next level. Our intuitive tools are equipped with better predictive power that automates complex data processing in genomic analysis. The focus of the workshop will be on our recent success story in piecing together the Pineapple genome by mapping Illumina short reads to Pacific Biosciences long reads using our proprietary tools combo of NovoCleaverLR, NovoCorrectorLR. NovoAlign and NovoSort. We will also be sharing on the application of NovoAlign and NovoSort in sequence alignment, sorting and removing duplicate reads for variant analysis. This workshop is designed for biological scientists, bioinformaticians, academicians and industry players working with Next Generation Sequencing data who are looking for information or are keen to learn about tools that could further empower research.
