A primary focus of our research group involves analysis of large volumes of high-throughput sequence data from multiple plant species. This creates a major requirement for computational processing power, data storage, and system administration to which most labs don't have easy access. We have overcome these obstacles by making heavy use of the computational and storage resources available through the iPlant Collaborative's cyberinfrastructure. I will discuss the ways we take advantage of these resources to complete anlyses and to easily share data with both local and remote collaborators.
