This presentation will summarize new insights into how ovarian progesterone and the endometrium of the uterus regulate elongation of the conceptus, which is an essential event for establishment of pregnancy in ruminants. These insights have been gained primarily through analysis of the endometrial transcriptome using GeneChip® Bovine Genome Arrays.
