Since the publication of the grape genome, genomic tools have considerably improved for this species, enabling the development of new breeding methodology. Genomic Selection (GS) allows the prediction of phenotypic values using genome wide information with or without prior information on the traits. Based on our most recent results, a combined method using informations from genetic determinisms studies and the GS methods seems to to be more accurate in grape. GS, association studies (with candidate genes or at the whole genome level) as well as eQTls will thus be complementary methods. The presentation will present latest results on these 3 methods in grape for the development of advanced molecular breeding methods.
