SoyBase is the USDA-ARS soybean genetics and genomics database. It stores genetic and genomic data for soybean such as gene, QTL, SNP, sequence and genetic map data. Recently, organized data for soybean mutant collections have become available. SoyBase has collected these data and produced a tool to display data regarding the mutant collection including the genes affected. SoyBase has used these data along with the Plant Metabolic Network derived SoyCyc soybean metabolic database to allow users to view mutant data and phenotypes in the context of soybean metabolic data by modification of the cellular overview feature of SoyCyc. Examples of this tool along with the modifications to the cellular overview will be presented.
