Whole genome sequence data of various organisms has been released by New Generation Sequencer (NGS), and DNA polymorphisms have been detected using NGS data. A part of NGS data for individual studies can be retrieved from an archive database called by "DDBJ Sequence Read Archive (DRA)". DNA polymorphism datasets have been often opened on web sites of individual studies. However most DNA polymorphism datasets have different reliability by the studies, thus it is difficult to compare DNA polymorphisms among different studies.

For improving this difficult situation to analyze DNA polymorphisms, we have been constructing an integrated database and analytical workflows called by "DNA Polymorphism Annotation Database (DNApod) (http://tga.nig.ac.jp/dnapod/)". Currently, we have been supporting plants and bacteria.DNApod database has re-analyzed DNA polymorphisms (SNPs) data, which were detected using uniform experimental conditions from NGS data. In addition, users can download SNP annotations. Furthermore, we have been constructing DNApod workflow so that users can analyze user's original NGS data using the same experimental conditions with DNApod database. DNApod database has the data for large number of strains due to DRA registered large-scale data. Currently, DNApod database has the data of 678 rice strains. Moreover, we are constructing a web service of suggesting closely related strains for reference genome, called by "Reference Genome Suggest (http://tga.nig.ac.jp/rgs/)". Users can utilize "Reference Genome Suggest" and succeedingly DNApod workflow for detecting and annotating SNPs. In this presentation, we'll introduce "DNApod" database and "Reference Genome Suggest" tool.
