GDR: A Community Database for Rosaceae Genomics, Genetics and Breeding Research
The Genome Database for Rosaceae (GDR, www.rosaceae.org), is the community database resource for genomic, genetics and breeding research in almond, apple, apricot, blackberry, cherry, nectarine, peach, pear, plum, raspberry, rose, and strawberry. In its 12th year, GDR provides access to a suite of tools facilitating intuitive data mining of the publicly available research datasets of these species. In this presentation we demonstrate significant new datasets and tools and highlight future functionality to be developed as a result of new funding from the USDA Specialty Crop Research Initiative program and a National Research Support Project, NRSP10.
