Comprehensive Suite of Vectors Suitable for Wheat Transformation

A new flexible suite of transformation vectors for wheat, or monocot, transformation has been generated. Using conventional restriction enzyme cloning, an infinitely flexible system of building gene cassettes has been designed allowing single gene cassettes to large multi cassette constructs to be easily and quickly constructed. With up to 8 different promoters, 5 reporter genes and two terminators currently tested this is the most comprehensive set of vectors for wheat transformation available to date.
