CGMB (China Golden Marker Biotech Co., Ltd.) is a pioneer company in high-throughput genotyping service in China. CGMB is comprised of five divisions, which are division of molecular marker technology, division of bioinformatics, division of molecular breeding, division of germplasm creation, and division of field test.

To achieve our business goals, we have introduced LGC SNPline platform, the Douglas Scientific Array Tape platform, and Affymetrix SNP array for high-throughput genotyping with a low cost. We have also set up a high-efficient DH induction pipeline in maize. Our pipeline is capable of producing 50,000 DH line per year. We have built up a country-wild field testing network. Our breeding materials can be directly distributed in our network to be tested in different climate and environment conditions. Since its establishment on 03 July 2013, CGMB has begun to serve the Chinese maize breeding community in several important aspects: Whole Germplasm Collection Structure Analysis, Heterotic Groups Classification, MAS (Marker-Assisted Selection) and MAB (Marker-Assisted Backcrossing), Functional Marker Development for QTLs, QTL Pyramiding, GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Study), Seed testing, Patent Protection and Transfer. While we are mainly focusing on high-throughput genotyping SNPs in maize genome, we are expanding our genotyping service to wheat, oil rape, and some other important crops.
