In collaboration with the Reactome project, Gramene continues the development and expansion of a platform for the comparative analysis of plant metabolic and regulatory pathways. The Plant Reactome (http://plantreactome.gramene.org/) currently hosts over 200 curated rice pathways, from which projections are made into thirty-three additional plant species. These orthology-based projections comprise Oryza sativa, related rice species, maize, and other monocots, as well as tomato, potato, soybean, poplar, and other dicots. We are in the process of extending the platform to include curated Arabidopsis pathways (examples to be shown in this workshop). We are also working to expand the existing analytical capabilities of the Plant Reactome to include tools such as expression analysis and inter-species comparison.
