We developed new varieties derived from Naehanyuchae (Bioenergy Crop Research Center, National Institute of crop science, Rural Development Administration, Korea). We screened the segregating progeny of Naehanyuchae mutant using RAPD markers, and then individuals classified by banding patterns of RAPD. The classified lines generated by molecular marker assisted selection and it was repeated. When the lines were not amplified polymorphic DNA bands anymore, we confirmed purity using SSR markers. New variety of B. napus, Da-Ol was Changed spring type in the time of flowering and increased by 6% oleic acid content compared to Naehanyuchae.
