Flash Demo: Annotating genomes with MAKER-P and the iPlant Discovery Environment

Discovery Environment (DE) is one of iPlant’s key cyber-infrastructure platforms and features all major bioinformatics, genomics/proteomics analysis tools (referred to as apps) in an easy to use web-based interface. Through DE, users can run computational tools as individual apps or as workflows/pipelines, keep their analyses private and share their results with collaborators. This talk will feature a DE app for annotating genomes using MAKER-P through the High Throughput Computing (HPC) clusters at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).
