The Data Store (DS) is the backbone of iPlant's collection of computer systems, data management resources, and life sciences analysis software.  Collectively, these form a free, scalable, and extensible, cyberinfrastructure with tools to manage your Life Sciences Data.  The DS accommodates a broad range of skill levels, with web-based and command line access to your data, the efficient transfer of large datasets, and metadata association and searching.  Share individual files or datasets publicly, with specific collaborators, or manage your data privately and securely.  Kilobytes or terabytes, the DS allows you to access, manage, and leverage your data with any of iPlant's other services, from anywhere you can access the internet.
