Better by design - simple tools for effective KASP assay design and optimisation

In this workshop, we talk about simple methods for designing KASP assays using everyday informatics tools. What to look for and what to avoid when designing assays for difficult targets including polyploid organisms. There will be detailed descriptions of techniques used and also tips on familiar PCR optimisation methods. Detials on how to submit sequence for designing including how to identifiy bases for automated anchoring of your assays. The workshop will be given by LGC Genomics Senior Scientist Jonathan Curry who will be open for questions for the duration.
