Rapid Full-Length IsoSeq cDNA Sequencing of Rice mRNA to Facilitate Annotation and Identify Splice-Site Variation
Date: Monday, January 12, 2015
Room:
PacBio’s new IsoSeq technology allows for rapid generation of full-length cDNA sequences and the identification of rare splice site variation events without the need for extensive and complication assembly algorithms. AGI tested this technology on leaf RNA from two model O. sativa ssp. indica cultivars Minghui 63 and Zhenshan 97. Data will be presented describing our analysis of IsoSeq generated data sets in comparison with traditional old school Sanger sequencing data.
