3074Computational Gene Discovery
The task of reaching high accuracy annotation of protein-coding and RNA genes in large eukaryotic genomes still presents a challenge. Computational Gene Discovery workshop is a forum for introduction and discussion of new approaches that improve automatic processing of NGS reads from assembly down to pipelines of genome annotation that accounts for multiple layers of OMICs data.
Our speakers represent research groups developing state-of-the-art algorithms and methods of structural and functional annotation that use various types of OMICs data (genomic, transcript, protein sequence and proteomics data, etc.). The Workshop talks describe the latest advances in all components of computational gene discovery.
