Dovetail Genomics, LLC - Bigger, Better Genomes: The Dovetail Approach to Genome Assembly

At Dovetail genomics, we have revolutionized whole genome assembly with our proprietary methods for NGS library preparation (Chicago Libraries) and complementary sequence assembly pipeline (HiRise). This workshop will begin with a brief overview of our technologies followed by presentations from three customers who will describe how Dovetail genome assemblies have enabled their research in an important agricultural organism, an extinct bird, and a parthenogenetic lizard. During the session, we will also announce the winner of our competition for a free genome assembly project (entries due by January 6, 2016 at http://dovetailgenomics.com/pag2016).
