Integrated Analysis for Genomic Variation, Gene Expression and Gene Regulation

DNASTAR offers an integrated software suite for assembly and analysis of next-generation sequence data from all major sequencing platforms, supporting key workflows in a desktop computing environment or on the Amazon cloud. The SeqMan NGen program provides extremely accurate alignment and variant calling for multiple project types, while the integrated Variant Annotation Database makes interpreting the results feasible via automated import of variant annotations sourced from dbNSFP, 1000 Genomes Project and the Exome Variant Server. Here we present an example of how the software can be used to perform integrated analysis of RNA-Seq gene expression data, ChIP-Seq peaks, and SNPs of interest in a single project. Alignment and analysis is scalable from individuals to large groups of samples so that variant and gene sets of interest can be efficiently isolated and identified regardless of the project size.
