Genetic Regulation and Evolution of Alternative Splicing Changes during Sunflower Domestication

We identify the genetic basis of alternative splicing differences in 160 genes, quantifying changes in expression and splicing during domestication of the Common Sunflower, Helianthus annuus, and identifying possible evolutionary and genetic origins of these changes. Effects on traits associated with domestication are also discussed.
