Data Resource Sustainability and Funding

Discussions on database and data resource sustainability and funding have been building over the past year. This workshop will bring together representatives from several plant and animal databases and data resources representing a range of different financial support mechanisms. We will learn about the state of data resource funding in various different scientific areas and share our experiences in obtaining funding from various sources. The series of talks will be followed by a panel discussion where the workshop participants and speakers can elaborate further on ideas and experiences in this area.
