We are proposing this new SIG to bring together the full range of evidence synthesis methods, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. We believe this space is needed in social work so the discipline can more actively engage in these discussions. Many of these methods were developed outside of social work, and they may require adaptation to better reflect the values and priorities of our field. This SIG will create a space for scholars to exchange ideas, share methodological developments, and strengthen the role of evidence synthesis in advancing social work research, practice, and policy.
