Space and Heliophysics Science Undergraduate and Graduate Education Resources
Session ID#: 251367
Session Description:
Advances in space physics computational tools and the growing availability of web-based data repositories have created new opportunities for developing rich undergraduate and graduate educational experiences. These research-grade resources can support the creation of user guides, interactive tutorials, and curricular activities that immerse students in authentic scientific workflows and data analysis. This session invites abstracts that highlight the use or development of such resources—ranging from software packages and Jupyter notebooks, to curated data repositories and instructional materials. We welcome contributions that explore how these tools are integrated into formal coursework or other learning environments to enhance scientific understanding, engagement, and skills development. We also encourage submissions from programs that leverage these resources to create innovative learning experiences or to bridge the gap between education and research. The session aims to share practical examples, inspire collaboration, and discuss challenges and successes in bringing modern space physics tools into the classroom.
