Session Description:
Ecohydrology is a multi-faceted discipline focused on interactions and feedbacks between water and ecosystems over space and time. As a result, the field of ecohydrology is constantly evolving and requires the adaptation of novel methods and skills to advance scientific understanding. This session, sponsored by the Ecohydrology Technical Committee, is intended to highlight new areas of research that tackle cutting edge ideas and current topics in the field of ecohydrology. We encourage submission of abstracts at all intersections of the hydrological and ecological sciences including but not limited to studies based on field work, modeling, laboratory or mesocosm experiments, remote sensing, meta-analysis, machine learning, and/or development of theory or methods. We are especially interested in research that considers coupled ecological and hydrological processes across scales, systems, or thresholds.
