Probing Transport/Acceleration and Magnetic Fields with MeV-TeV Particles and Electromagnetic Signature: From Solar Atmosphere to Interplanetary Space

Session Description:
The connection between MeV-TeV particles and electromagnetic radiation, from radio to gamma-rays, in the heliosphere provides a powerful probe of the transport of Anomalous/Galactic Cosmic Rays (ACR/GCR) and Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs) from solar atmosphere into the solar wind and of the small-scale turbulence in such environments. The synergy of Parker Solar Probe near-Sun measurements with Solar Orbiter, Wind, ACE, and new data from space-/ground-based missions (Fermi-LAT, AMS-02, CALET, HAWC, LHAASO, Tibet Air Shower Array, neutron monitors) will yield new insights into the solar modulation within 1 AU throughout the solar cycle, particularly the transient modulation such as Forbush decreases associated with CMEs and interplanetary shocks. High resolution solar imaging (e.g., DKIST) and simulations have been investigating turbulence in the solar atmosphere. We welcome theoretical/observational abstracts on (1) ACR/GCR/SEP propagation and modulation through the heliosphere, (2) acceleration and interaction of MeV-TeV particles with the solar atmosphere/corona and electromagnetic signature.
