Session Description:
This session presents examples of the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools using Earth Observations (EO) in the monitoring, early warning and risk assessment of health-related impacts of environmental threats/events. AI provides the opportunity for identifying and quantifying conceivably ambiguous and/or noisy relationships between EO observed environmental parameters and health outcomes. The session is aligned with the Group on Earth Observations (GEO)-Health Community of Practice’s (CoP’s) One-Health approach to advance scientific knowledge of ongoing public health threats by integrating human, animal, and ecosystem health.
