Isotopes in Earth System: Across Spheres and Timescales

Session Description:
Stable and radiogenic isotopes provide a unique integrative perspective on Earth system processes by linking biogeochemical cycles across the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and lithosphere over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. This session focuses on how isotopic signals record, integrate, and constrain coupled Earth system processes, including source-to-sink pathways, cross-sphere exchanges, feedback mechanisms, and long-term responses to natural and anthropogenic perturbations. We welcome contributions that advance Earth system understanding through isotopic observations, laboratory and field experiments, modeling, and experiment-model integration.
