Funding agencies - NSF and NASA - have increasingly supported team science through initiatives like DRIVE Science Centers and Space Weather Centers of Excellence. In spite of these efforts, there is still an ongoing debate as to the overall value and best practices of supporting team efforts instead of individual PI’s. Team science efforts support individuals across career stages as individuals collaborate and build their skill sets to push scientific efforts forward. These efforts may include providing training opportunities in technical and organizational skills, leadership opportunities, public engagement, and training to work with non-scientific communities. Additionally, there are organizational considerations to support team science efforts that might include merging multiple disciplines and ways of knowing. 

We invite missions, centers, programs, and institutions to share their efforts, including successes and challenges, in supporting team science as part of a discussion to benefit the broader scientific community.
