One Health in Action: Evaluating Heat, Air Quality, Water, and Land Using Geospatial Intelligence for Health Risk Assessment

Session Description:
Health risks are influenced by environmental conditions such as heat, air quality, water, and land characteristics. Advances in geospatial intelligence provide new opportunities to examine these factors individually or in combination across spatial and temporal scales. This session explores how geospatial data and analytical approaches support the assessment of health risks linked to diverse environmental exposures. We invite contributions on heat stress, air pollution, water quality, land use, and related determinants of health using satellite observations, in-situ data, or spatial analysis. Submissions may focus on individual domains or cross-cutting analyses. Studies on methods, data integration, spatial patterns, and applied case studies are welcome. This session brings together researchers from geoscience, public health, climatology, atmospheric science, hydrology, land systems, environmental science, epidemiology, remote sensing, and data science.
