Towards Sustainable Flood Control

Session ID#: 76868

Session Description:
Recent flood events in North America and throughout the world shows the need for improved flood risk management and in particular sustainable approaches for mitigating these events.  This special session will receive contributions on new technologies aimed to sustainable flood control, decision support systems for flood control and cost-benefit analysis of potential implementations. This session will also receive contributions on case studies on flood risk management and flood control.
