Leading Effective Geo Field Trips: Lessons Learned and Activities to Share

Session ID#: 83215

Session Description:
Taking students into the field poses a variety of unique opportunities as well as challenges. This session is interested in materials, methodologies, locations, stories, solutions, and/or other unique approaches to field based education. Presenters will share their most effective, most fun, and most interesting experiences of taking students into the field, along with solutions for the logistical, content-oriented, and other pitfalls that sometimes occur along the way.
