Finding space places that are different from other space places using computers that sense numbers and make good guesses

Abstract:
Around our rock in space is a field, a kind of space-field, and different parts of this space-field have different names. As space ships go through these different parts (or sometimes go out of the space field all together), it would be good to know in real time when the space ship moves into a different part. The space ship could then, on its own, change what it is doing to best fit the field-space where it is. But you have to train the space ship computer before you send it into space -- it needs to learn to sense from the numbers it will get what the different parts of the space field look like. We show how to teach a computer on the ground how to sense space field part names by looking at numbers from an earlier space ship that went to a different-rock-in-space. Well, actually, this different-rock-in-space is a different-air-ball-in-space, and it is in spot six from our star in the middle of all the local space rocks. Using numbers from the space field, and some other numbers from the most tiniest possible pieces of stuff stuck in the space field, the computer learned to sense what each named part of the space field looked like. We think this could in the future be a very good way to make a space ship make good choices that people cannot make, since the people cannot be on or talk to the space ship when it needs to make the choice.
